Greetings from Knoxville on Day 5! We cannot believe the last day of CHIC is here. God has been pouring out His Spirit upon His children…we have seen it and it is MARVELOUS in our eyes. Yesterday students attended workshops that included topics such as radical discipleship, being in relationship with others, exploring full time ministry, missionary ministry and human trafficking. The evening worship experience included communion and compelled children to answer the question, “do you want to be well.” Students confessed the sin and woundedness that is tearing their souls and laid it at the throne of grace. They then each journeyed to the cross to receive a white flag that symbolized their surrender to Christ. It was such a moving experience as hundreds of children wept at the cross and were sorrowful before the Lord.
We want you to know that your prayers are making a difference in the lives of these children that will not only be churchgoers but will be world changers. Following are the praise reports and prayer concerns that have come before us.
“And we know that the prayers of the righteous availeth much.” James 5:16
Thanks again for joining us in prayer this week!
Grace and Peace,
the CHIC prayer team
